01 What we use

No advertising cookies, ever

Nothing here is sold or shared. There is no cross-site tracking. That is why Cosalyx does not greet you with a consent banner: strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, and we do not set the kind that would.

Strictly necessary

Session cookie: keeps you signed in. httpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it; first-party, so it is never sent to another site.

Security tokens: protect forms against cross-site request forgery.

Preferences

Light or dark theme, and accent colour

Whether the sidebar is expanded or collapsed

Small interface state: the last tab or filter you had open

These live in your browser, on your device, and say nothing about who you are. One is sent back to us: on cosalyx.com the light or dark choice is a small cookie holding just that word, so each page opens in the theme you picked.

02 Managing cookies

Your browser can block or clear cookies for any site. Blocking them for Cosalyx signs you out and stops you signing back in; the session cookie is how we know who you are. Clearing preference storage just resets the interface to its defaults; nothing is lost.

03 Connected services

Opening a service you have connected (signing in with Meta, for instance) takes you briefly to that company’s own pages, where its cookies apply. What each one does is covered by their own policies and by our sub-processors page.
